Core Values
Missions & Beliefs

In the Mountain View Birch Tree School district, we
believe that...

...every student is a unique entity capable of learning in different ways and at different rates.

...all students can be successful, life-long learners who have been exposed to the technology and skills necessary to function in a dynamic, changing society.

...all students can recognize and solve problems and communicate effectively.

...every child deserves a safe, healthy and drug-free environment.

...all students must learn how to gather, analyze and apply information and ideas.

...Mountain View Birch Tree Schools belong to everyone. Therefore, everyone - students, teachers, support staff, parents and the community - are valued members in the educational process.

All representatives of private/parochial/home school students are invited to attend.  We are seeking input to determine the need for special education and related services for student with disabilities.  The district will consider information received at this meeting and determine the services to be provided.  For more information, please contact Lanna Tharp, Special Programs Director, at 417-934-2550.
