Alternative School Teacher / Varsity Girls Basketball Coach

The Mountain View-Birch Tree School District is seeking to employ a high school alternative school/at-risk teacher and varsity girls basketball coach starting in the 2017-2018 school year. 

All applicants must be certified to teach at the high school (9-12) level.  Successful applicants will have high school teaching and coaching experience.  The individual hired for this position will staff the at-risk/alternative school classroom where students take online courses. 

This teacher will check student’s transcripts, help students schedule appropriate classes, communicate with parents regarding students’ progress towards graduation, and will be flexible and knowledgeable in helping students successfully complete courses in all subject areas.  This individual must be very patient and have demonstrated abilities to work with at-risk students.


High School English Teacher

The Mountain View-Birch Tree School District is seeking to employ a high school freshman English teacher starting in the 2017-2018 school year.    All applicants must be certified to teach at the high school English (9-12) level.


Middle School Math Teacher

The Mountain View-Birch Tree School District is seeking to employ a middle school, seventh grade Math teacher starting in the 2017-2018 school year.  All applicants must be certified to teach middle school level Math. 


Special Education Teacher

The Mountain View-Birch Tree School District is seeking a full-time elementary Special Education teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. Successful candidate must have appropriate Missouri certification, have prior experience working with cross categorical special education students, and have experience with MAP-A administration. This position may also require Speech/Language Implementation.  Prior professional experience preferred, including but not limited to: IEP development and administration, behavior management training, autism support, and collaboration with regular education teachers.

Speech/Language Pathologist and/or SLP-A

The Mountain View Birch Tree School District is searching for a Speech/Language Pathologist and/or Speech Language Pathology -Assistant to serve Early Childhood and K-12 students for the remainder of the 2015-16 school year and for the 2016-2017 school year. Position requires knowledge in special education, IEPs, evaluating and interpreting results, and speech/language therapy for sound system disorders and language. Appropriate certification as a Speech and Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathology-Assistant is required.

Special Education Paraprofessional Position
