Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy

Mountain View-Birch Tree R-III School District is currently seeking bids for Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy services. Candidates must possess appropriate Missouri certification for the position they are requesting. All contractors must be aware that they are not insured by any of the Mountain View-Birch Tree School District insurance policies including worker’s compensation. Bidders must specify one (1) hourly rate for all services provided including planning a provision of therapy, diagnostic; evaluative testing, development of IEPs, maintaining records, screening; identification of children, meeting with parents, recommendations, and travel expenses. Services will be rendered starting August 1st through the end of the 2019-2020 school year following the Mountain View-Birch Tree School District calendar and school day times, with the possibility of some Extended School Year services.

Speech/Language Pathologist and/or SLP-A

The Mountain View Birch Tree School District is searching for a Speech/Language Pathologist and/or Speech Language Pathology -Assistant to serve Early Childhood and K-12 students for the remainder of the 2017-18 school year and for the 2018-2019 school year. Position requires knowledge in special education, IEPs, evaluating and interpreting results, and speech/language therapy for sound system disorders and language. Appropriate certification as a Speech and Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathology-Assistant is required.

Special Education Teacher

The Mountain View-Birch Tree School District is seeking a full-time Special Education teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. Successful candidate must have appropriate Missouri certification, have prior experience working with cross categorical special education students, and have experience with MAP-A administration.  Prior professional experience preferred, including but not limited to: IEP development and administration, behavior management training, autism support, and collaboration with regular education teachers.

Special Education Paraprofessional Position
