Mrs. Ball - Computer Apps
Since students may not have access to Microsoft Office at home for free I found projects for them to complete using Google Apps that they can use if they access to the internet. They will need to log on using their school email accounts in order to have free access to these programs they will need to create these projects from home. Students will need to use their @liberty.mvbt.k12.mo.us accounts to access these programs. If students wish to turn these projects in for feedback I will have places for them to submit their projects on their Google Classroom pages. It is not required that they submit them, but it is available if they choose to. They can access Google Classroom from home by clicking this link classroom.google.com

It is suggested that you use Google Chrome as your browser to access the google apps, but it is not required. You can access google apps by simply searching Google Slides, or going to docs.google.com and clicking the "waffle icon" in the top right corner of your screen.
For week 1: Google Slides is just like Microsoft PowerPoint. There are 5 projects for you to pick fromIf you need an easy start pick 5.1, if you want more of a challenge pick 5.5. An image of the finished project for you to check your own work against is pictured along with each project. Have fun with these, everything you will need and all instructions are in the pdf file.

There are 4 projects for you to pick from. If you need an easy start pick 6.1, if you want more of a challenge pick 6.4. An image of the finished project for you to check your own work against is pictured along with each project. Have fun with these, everything you will need and all instructions are in the pdf file.

Student Online Resources

If you and your child visit one of these sites and it requires a username and password, please contact their teacher. The teacher emails are listed on the left side of the Student Resources page. They will have the login information and can provide it. The teachers are working hard to provide access. They are working with companies, that provide useful tools for our students, to share online content. Also, check your packets for login information.

(From eMINTS ) I wanted to let you know that the eMINTS staff has been working to develop a collection of learning activities to support home-based learning. These are suggestions for easy activities parents can do with their children at home to keep them thinking. (Thanks Mrs. Foster)
