In order to receive books, a parent or guardian must register their child online. (Online registration ensures that there is little wait time to receive your first book.) Books will be mailed directly to the homes of registered children every month free of charge. Families who sign up in November 2023 will receive their first book in the mail in January 2024. Scan the QR code to register your child or go to www.imaginationlibrary.com. If you are already signed up, you do not need to register again.

It was a successful English Tutoring Night at LHS! Students were able to get one-on-one help with assignments, papers, and ACT prep. They also had a quiet space to read books and get book suggestions from our librarian. Thanks to all the teachers who stayed and the students who took advantage of this opportunity!

Tomorrow is the last day to register for the December 9th ACT test at Liberty High School. Students who pay for an ACT test in December will receive a discount code in their email to register for an additional test for free. Who doesn't love a Buy One Get One free?

Educators Rising (formerly FTA) is doing a food drive to help students and families in need here within our own community for the Thanksgiving holiday! Community members are welcome to drop off food at the high school office even if you do not have students that are enrolled here. West Plains Bank & Trust will also be providing an ice-cream party for the class(grade-level) that brings the most food in. Food will be accepted through November 15th.

Mrs. Faulkner's junior class wrapped up their Career Unit with mock interviews provided by individuals from local businesses. The juniors worked on job applications, job skills, resumes, and the interview process. This is all done to help advance our student's success with employment opportunities now and in the future. We would luke to say a very special Thank You to Lindsey Holden and Eric Wells from West Plains Bank & Trust, Andrea McNew from Shelter Insurance, Lynn McKinzie and Morgan Renegar from The Anchor, Tim Bradshaw from Walmart, Larry Price, Mark Conway, and Dr. Christensen for volunteering to help our students with interviews.
