We want to thank our communities for the awesome support they are showing the Liberty Eagles! As of today, several supplies have been marked off of the supply lists. If more donations are made, we will update the lists on FB and on our school website. These supplies will be delivered to classrooms before the first day of school. We hope to see everyone at the Back to School Kick-off on August 16 from 5:00-8:00 Several businesses, churches, and agencies will be set up around the track with several items and information for the students. You don't want to miss this!

Important change for K-8 Summer School students: The Willow Springs water park will not be open on our scheduled pool day due to unexpected circumstances. So, we will be going to the West Plains pool on Tuesday, June 28th from 9:00-11:00. We will also be going to the zoo in Springfield on Thursday, June 30.
We are allowing an Air Evac helicopter to land in our high school parking lot. This is unrelated to our school district. There have been no accidents or incidents at summer school and all staff and students are safe. We do not have any information regarding the situation.

2022 MVE Kindergarten Graduation
Summer School starts tomorrow, June 1. If you have not enrolled your child, you can enroll them at the building they will attend or enroll them on-line: https://forms.gle/LvdaEDqeZmpWknubA
Students will be enrolled in the grade levels they will be enrolled in during the 2022-2023 school year. K-5th grade students will attend at MVE. 6th-8th grade students will attend at LMS. High school students will attend at LHS.
Doors will open at 7:30. Regular bus routes will run, so expect to see our buses out and about. BTE parents, if you are planning to drop off your students at BTE, the buses will be leaving BTE at 7:30 and returning at 3:30. Students can be picked up at MVE between 3:15 and 3:30. MVE will have the same drop off and pick up lanes as they did during the 2021-2022 school year. Buses will be transporting middle school and high school students from the elementary buildings to LMS.

Last night, Mrs. Courtney Day was recognized at our board meeting as the MVBT district teacher of the year! Mrs. Day has demonstrated excellent leadership skills in the district’s math department. She is highly respected by her colleagues and her students. Mrs. Day, thank you for working tirelessly to be an awesome educator and making sure your students get what they need to succeed.
Summer school change: Incoming 6th grade students will attend summer school at LMS. MSHSAA is allowing 6th grade students to participate in middle school sports in the 2022-2023 season. Due to some sports related activities taking place during summer school, the 6th grade summer school class will be at LMS, not at MVE. See photos of summer schedules.

Locations for Summer School:
LHS Credit and Attendance Recovery will be held at LHS.
LHS PE will take place at LMS.
K-6 students will attend at MVE
7-8th students will attend at LMS.
Buildings will open at 7:30. School ends at 3:30. Pick up and drop off procedures will be the same as they are during the regular school year. Transportation is provided, with all buses running their regular routes the first few days.
Although we would appreciate everyone enrolling this week, students may enroll the first week of summer school.
Best of luck to the Eagle golfers! They are headed to Columbia to compete in the State Tournament. Qualifying as a team is a big accomplishment! Go Eagles!
