On November 18, Coach Yarber and Coach Gastineau attended a Discover Nature-Fishing workshop with the Missouri Department of Conservation. After completing the training, they were provided with a fantastic kit of supplies, including 35 fishing poles and a comprehensive curriculum!
This program will give our students hands-on experience learning about different types of fishing equipment, casting, rigging a fishing rod, baiting a hook, and proper fish handling techniques. 🐟
Students will also take field trips to local rivers and lakes throughout the year to put their skills into action and catch their own fish! We’re so excited to see our Eagles learning and exploring the great outdoors.
Big thanks to Coach Yarber, Coach Gastineau, and the Missouri Department of Conservation for making this incredible opportunity possible!

Exploring the Field of Nursing: A Hands-On Hospital Experience
Liberty Middle School students had an incredible opportunity to dive into the dynamic world of nursing! During this hands-on field trip, students explored essential nursing skills like starting an IV, administering CPR, and even responding to a Code Blue—all in a real hospital setting.
Guided by experienced healthcare professionals, students gained insight into the critical role nurses play in patient care while building valuable medical and leadership skills. Who knows? We may have some future healthcare heroes among us!

They serve as the voice of their peers, bringing concerns and ideas to the board to help improve the student experience. We are so proud of Drayton, Aryanna, and Kierstyn for stepping into this leadership role and making a difference in our district. Thank you for your dedication and commitment!
