We are planning for the future—and we want your input!
If you live in our district, own a business, own a farm, or lead or attend a local church, and do not currently have children enrolled in our schools, we invite you to complete our Community Survey.
Your voice is a vital part of our district’s success. Whether you’re serving the community through your business, your church, or simply as a neighbor, your perspective will help guide our strategic planning for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond.
Please note: A separate survey was sent via text to all parents of enrolled students. This survey is intended solely for community members, business owners, farm owners, and church leaders or members.

Liberty Middle School showed their appreciation to Mrs. Heiney and Mr. Johnson today for Admin Appreciation Day!

Mountain View Elementary celebrated Mrs. Jester and Mr. Marriott today for Admin Appreciation Day!

In 8th grade Social Studies, students worked collaboratively in groups to explore key information about the Civil War. Each group was assigned a specific section of content to read and analyze. As they read, students identified important vocabulary, summarized the main idea, and created original illustrations to visually represent their section. They were also asked to research their topic to find 2 odd or weird facts about it to share. To wrap up the project, each group presented their findings to the class, teaching their peers about their portion of the Civil War and helping everyone build a deeper understanding of this pivotal time in American history.

If you made an order from the online Spring sports store, those are available to pick up in the HS office.
Monday, the high school will play baseball with Bakersfield at 11 am varsity only. The junior high will play right after this game 1 game only. There is some confusion about Bakersfield playing Thayer, that is correct but they aren't playing until 5 pm in Springfield.
What a night! BTE’s Family Reading Night was a page-turning success! Families came together to read, laugh, and help their kiddos reach those AR goals—one story at a time. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening filled with books, bonding, and a whole lot of heart. We loved seeing our BTE community come together to make reading fun!

Our Eagles were Disguised in the Skies and danced the night away!
Thank you to everyone who helped make our middle school dance a night to remember. Check out these fun moments!

GOAT Update! Ms. Yarber passed on the GOAT Award! This is what she had to say, "Mr. McAfee is the most deserving of the Goat Award this week. He is always in such a great mood, it is contagious to other teachers and the students! He is happy to help anyone and will do so at the drop of a hat. He is a respectable person and coworker. I don't know what we would do without him in our district. The kids love him and it is obvious how much he cares for them!"

Mountain View Elementary student council took a trip today to see the Missouri State Capital. They got to take a tour and learn about many things that have happened and are happening now. Thank you to KMJ Pallet and Lumber and Champs Fitness for sponsoring the trip!

Join us today at 3:00 PM in the Liberty High School gym for our Band Concert!

She Had All Her Ducks in a Row… One Last Time!
Miss Destiny wrapped up our final Duck Hunt of the year with a record-breaking 30 ducks hidden throughout LMS!
Students have loved the thrill of the hunt all year during Flourishing and Focused Fridays, and today’s grand finale didn’t disappoint.
Thanks, Miss Destiny, for bringing the fun—and the ducks!
