The Liberty Eagles Basketball team held their banquet last night for their 19 and 9 2023-2024 season that ended with 2nd place in Class 3 District 10. Congrats to all coaches, managers, and players on your season and accomplishments.

The monthly school board meeting has been moved to May 23, 2024, beginning at 6:00pm at Birch Tree Elementary
Due to the threat & severity of the incoming storm, we are going to code today as an Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) Day which allows all parents/guardians to pick up your students from school at any time this morning without attendance penalty. We will run regular bus routes starting at 11:30, so please make arrangements to either pick up your students from school or have someone at their bus drop off location.

The national signing day for Educators Rising is May 7, 2024. Educators Rising is a club for students interested in an education-related field. Today, these four LHS seniors signed their commitment to enter college as education majors.

What an unforgettable Spring band concert we experienced yesterday afternoon! Our middle school and high school students delivered a wonderful performance. But amidst the melodies and applause, we took a moment to honor someone truly special - our esteemed band teacher, Mr. Johnson.
Mr. Johnson, your dedication to our students and the art of music has been nothing short of inspiring. As you prepare to embark on a new chapter teaching in your hometown, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the difference you have made in the Mountain View-Birch Tree R-III School District.

We would like to congratulate Liberty Eagle Terrell Gaines, as he has chose to further his education and basketball career at Austin Peay University in Clarksville, TN. Terrell is also the all time leading scorer in Liberty Eagle basketball history with 2,514 points. We wish he and his family the best of luck.
