The Liberty Lady Eagles got a first round win in the Seymour Lady Tiger Invitational tournament tonight over Rush. Final score was 43-33. Lady Eagles advance to play the Branson JV tomorrow in round 2 at 7:30 PM! 🦅




Thursday night the Liberty girls will begin the Seymour Invitational, 5hey will take on RUSH at 5:30 pm. The Lady Eagles are seeded number 1 in the tournament. The boys JV, will also play in Mountain Grove, at 7 pm on Thursday night, in the JV portion of that tournament.

Congratulations to Terrell Gaines, he is the all time leading scorer in Liberty Eagle basketball. Terrell surpassed the record of 2,119 points held by Kevin Irving who played from 1985-89. Last night, Terrell and the Eagles, beat Marshfield to move on in the Mountain Grove Tournament. Terrell needed 15 points and ended up with 32. The Eagles will play on Thursday at 8:30.

There will be no school on Wednesday, January 24. There are still several slick spots on our gravel roads. Tomorrow will be an AMI Day. Your principal or teacher will be reaching out to you with instructions for the day. Stay safe.


There will be no school tomorrow, Tuesday, January 23, due to treacherous backroads. Tomorrow will be an Alternative Methods of Instruction day. Students should have a learning packet to complete. Parents, make sure they return their completed packet when we are back in session. We hope to see everyone on Wednesday!

Big THANKS to MSU-West Plains for hosting Liberty Eagles night at the Grizzly game! Two of the young Liberty teams were able to scrimmage at halftime. 🦅




The Lady Eagles fall to the Bobcats in a hard fought game. Reagan Wells led all scorers with 27, Hadley Chowning added 15. The Lady Eagles will play for 3rd place in the Thayer Winter Classic.


Middle School Student, Zedakiah Boyer, and his coach, Mr. Medina entered their first chess tournament, The 2024 Willow Springs Open, today. Zed took first place with a 5-1 record! We are so proud of Zed!

Girls with a nice win over Ava at Thayer on Thursday. The boys, over Alton last night at home. Tonight, the girls play Thayer, in the Thayer Winter Classic at 3:30.
Boys back in action Tuesday night in Mountain Grove at 8:30 v Marshfield.

School WILL BE in session tomorrow, Friday, January 19. We understand that it's the only day we are attending this week, but we believe that everyday matters! Let's make tomorrow legendary and break our Friday attendance record! Set those alarms and show up, Eagles! We hope to see all of our Eagles bright and early! We've been missing you!


All students and staff are invited to the Grizzlies Men's Basketball Game on Saturday Night! The game starts at 7:00. Our fourth grade teams will be scrimmaging at half-time. Students and staff will receive free admission to the game with some form of school identification. Liberty Eagles, let's show up!


Reminder that the Thayer tournament will begin tomorrow night for the girls. Games that have been rescheduled to this point, boys at Marshfield on January 29th, boys at Rogersville on Feb 5. The Licking jv girls tournament has no make up date yet. As soon as there are dates for it, Hartville and the boys Licking game, we will update you.

Due to several of our gravel roads still being snow covered, we will not have school on Thursday, January 18.
