10th and 11th grade students, have you considered attending VoTech for 24-25 school year?
Southern Missouri Technical Institute (formerly known as South Central Career Center) in West Plains offers a variety of skill trade programs.
Ms. Watts visited with sophomore classes and shared the following information. Those students who are currently in 10th or 11th grade and who are interested in attending Southern Missouri Technical Institute next year are invited to tour their facilities, and learn more about each program.
We will be taking a tour during the school day for those interested on Feb. 28th. If students are interested in attending please complete the Google form shared in the student's English Google classroom or see Ms. Watts.
Liberty Eagles win 55 44 over Ava tonight. Boys back in action on Friday night at home vs Cabool. Girls play tomorrow night in Thayer for 3rd place in that tournament.
Just a reminder that Band Students have the opportunity to travel for SCA auditions tomorrow afternoon. Please make sure your students have their permission slips and money for concession stand style dinner. Mr. Johnson will also have some snacks available for the students. The Lady Liberty Eagles are the 2024 Lady Tigers Invitational Champions! They defeated the Willow Springs Bears 68 to 50. Reagan Wells, Hadley Chowning, and Ella Phipps were named to the All Tournament Team! Congratulations coaches and players!
Halftime at the 1st Place match up of the Lady Tigers Invitational has the Lady Eagles over the Willow Springs Bears 31 to 18! Go Eagles!
Lady Eagles play for the championship of the Seymour tournament tonight at 5:00 pm. The boys will play Norwood for 3rd place in the Mountain Grove tournament at 5:30.

Liberty Lady Eagles win by the final score of 59-47 over the lady Pirates from Branson. The Eagles advance to the Championship game tomorrow at 5pm & will face the winner of Willow Springs/Bakersfield.

The Liberty Lady Eagles got a first round win in the Seymour Lady Tiger Invitational tournament tonight over Rush. Final score was 43-33. Lady Eagles advance to play the Branson JV tomorrow in round 2 at 7:30 PM! π¦
Thursday night the Liberty girls will begin the Seymour Invitational, 5hey will take on RUSH at 5:30 pm. The Lady Eagles are seeded number 1 in the tournament. The boys JV, will also play in Mountain Grove, at 7 pm on Thursday night, in the JV portion of that tournament.
Congratulations to Terrell Gaines, he is the all time leading scorer in Liberty Eagle basketball. Terrell surpassed the record of 2,119 points held by Kevin Irving who played from 1985-89. Last night, Terrell and the Eagles, beat Marshfield to move on in the Mountain Grove Tournament. Terrell needed 15 points and ended up with 32. The Eagles will play on Thursday at 8:30.
There will be no school on Wednesday, January 24. There are still several slick spots on our gravel roads. Tomorrow will be an AMI Day. Your principal or teacher will be reaching out to you with instructions for the day. Stay safe.
There will be no school tomorrow, Tuesday, January 23, due to treacherous backroads. Tomorrow will be an Alternative Methods of Instruction day. Students should have a learning packet to complete. Parents, make sure they return their completed packet when we are back in session. We hope to see everyone on Wednesday!

The Lady Eagles fall to the Bobcats in a hard fought game. Reagan Wells led all scorers with 27, Hadley Chowning added 15. The Lady Eagles will play for 3rd place in the Thayer Winter Classic.
Middle School Student, Zedakiah Boyer, and his coach, Mr. Medina entered their first chess tournament, The 2024 Willow Springs Open, today. Zed took first place with a 5-1 record! We are so proud of Zed!
